Culture Class
Nosa celebrated the memorable fifth anniversary of the podcast he initiated during his time as a business student at American University. During our tour of the school, we took note of the transformations that have occurred since the inception of the podcast, reflected on the early episodes, and gathered valuable additional insights into the host.
Trumpeting for fun
Christopher Bagley is a sophomore film major at Penn State. Bagley also is minoring in Music Technology and playing trumpet assists him in keeping a keen ear. He first began his music career in the Fourth Grade at Ferguson Township Elementary School in State College, Pa.
As a ‘townie’ he has made his way “from one side of College Ave to another.” Bagley has taken his hobby of trumpet playing more legit by trying out for the Penn State Blue Band and other bands such as Outer Dimensions Jazz Band and Pride of the Lions Pep Band for Men’s Basketball when not in his classes or working Back-of-House at Eisenhower Auditorium.
Entertaining the talk
Jerome Taylor, host of Nittany Record Club, is a senior at Penn State. He got his start by being a guest of the show most weeks. NRC talks about Entertainment from Music to Movies. The first year of its existence, Nittany Record Club won ‘Talk Show of the Year.’

From Hollywood to Small Town
Richard “Rick” MacZura is a Production Supervisor at the Eisenhower Auditorium for the Center for Performing Arts at Penn State University. There he works with workers ranging from students to experienced stagehands for a variety of productions from student to off-broadway productions that premiere there.
Previously MacZura was a stand-in, photo and stunt double for David Caruso, at various times on the show CSI: Miami. He also had a few smaller stunt roles on the show.

During his tenure at the Republican National Committee (RNC), Chris undertook the creation of concise 30-60 second videos, Instagram stories, rapid responses, recaps, and transcriptions. These were crafted for dissemination across social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, catering to various departments within the organization. Over time, his role evolved to supporting the Production Manager in overseeing a spectrum of productions both in-studio and off-site, encompassing remote live broadcasts, pre-recorded segments, and live television events featuring notable figures like the President of the United States, Cabinet members, the First Family, Senators, members of Congress, the RNC Chair, and heads of assorted departments within the RNC. Subsequent to a studio revamp, Chris was reintegrated into the team, where he currently collaborates with the Creative and Studio teams on pivotal projects like Tommy Reacts, Republican Rundown, and the Pre-Debate Shows. His responsibilities extend to managing the studio, encompassing aspects like engineering, directing, general operations, and studio calendar coordination. Throughout his tenure, Chris has engaged closely with prominent figures including the RNC Chair and Co-Chair, Senators, members of Congress, and teams supporting the Presidential nominees.
